The world is rapidly changing as the temperature rises on Planet Earth. In the United States of America, eco conscious consumers are starting to make better choices about their food and energy consumptions. All this as humanity migrates away from the fossil fuel trust fund on planet Earth and into renewable energy alternatives.

Lenzr is here to help! The serial photo contest website was built to help start-ups and technology companies find relevance on the web. Canadian photographers can submit images of People Building Things like sailboats and parade floats or just digging moats or making cages for goats around their home or business. This summer a lot of people are busy installing solar panels on the rooftops of their homes, barns and garages. Do you have any pictures of that?

EcoDeckBuilder is an eco friendly deck building company that raises the bar high on green buildings, and leaves tiny carbon footprint for other home renovations and repair contractor firms to follow. These solar powered builders specialize in creating fences and gazebos, verandas and wooden decks, docks and basically anything you need made of timber or recycled plastic lumber that's cut and fashioned into your backyard paradise using the energy from the sun. EcoDeckBuilder makes and uses green energy in state-of-the-art solar powered construction sites. Have a look at their equipment trailer below.

The trailer above was designed and manufactured by Solarline Power which makes portable solar power generators and customizes equipment trailers for you particular business needs.

Morning Sunshine photo contest is sponsored by Solarline Power. They will donate an iPad to the partipant that uploads the highest ranked image when voting ends Oct 1st 2010.

In this web challenge, participants are asked to submit images of people and objects enjoying the first rays of morning light, anywhere on Planet Earth.

The article Solarline in the age of portable solar power that was posted on the Lenzr blog August 8th, 2010 really does a wonderful job outlining the innovative company and the opportunity present in this competitive affair.

There is also a nifty new countdown mechanism that accepts and displays all uploads until voting begins September 20th 2010, at which time it ranks them.

The VIEW FROM THE ROOF photo contest asks photographers to please scale the heights of their homes and take snaps of their surroundings. Contest ENDS Oct 1st 2010

The smart player would upload images with memorable skylines - make sure there's some recognizable landmarks on the horizon. Lenzr asks for pictures from around Canada but any foreign or domestic landscape with exceptional points of interest will be allowed. This iPad donated by a flat roof repair and roof whitening business centered in Toronto Ontario.

Here is Dan Sheridan of All Weather Roofing hanging out on a flat roof north of Toronto with the CN Tower in the distance.

Once again Lenzr has become a very interesting serial photo contest website that harnesses business to make art. In this space the membership decides the winners and so networking and telling friends to vote for your pictures is half the battle - the other half is taking a great picture and writing a compelling caption.

In May and June 2010, the Crowded Places photo contest on Lenzr is set to collect and rank shots of busy intersections and congested shopping malls and offers as prize a free Blackberry Curve smart phone!

This engagement comes courtesy of a web development Toronto firm that makes easy to use custom websites and custom software including state of the art business applications that are of course very search engine friendly destinations which soon become crowded places online.

The 50 Going on 15 photo contest is a very different story and rather than focus on crowds Lenzr members want to upload and rank beautiful individuals with a little grey in their hair acting like teenagers and doing something reckless and unusual.

Sponsored by a sophisticated over 50 and stylish ezine in Toronto, the prize is over 50 lbs of chocolate delivered by a refined an elegant Toronto chocolate company.

With electric lawnmowers powered by the sun's energy, the business is very sustainable and they use organic mulches and grass treatments too. In addition to everything else, they're also probably the quietest crew on the block, because electric lawnmowers are typically very quiet.

But we're making noise about the prize, a Neuton CE6 battery powered lawn mower seen here. You can read about the sponsor and the Neuton CE6 lawn mower prize in the Lenzr blog.

OBSOLETE OFFICE EQUIPMENT

The next contest focused camera lenses on old fashioned junk that used to be considered standard equipment. The crap lying around useless in the office is the subject of a photo contest called ]Obsolete Office Equipment.
