Hey, I was just born in the 80's - 1989 in March (3)
This is the international chart-list from March 1989! (no idea whether it is the right one, because I found it only in the Internet, where else...)
Okay, it's not all very good, but it's my personal "Birthday Music", what shall I do...
01. Marc Almond: "Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart"
02. Fine Young Cannibals: "She Drives Me Crazy"
03. Simple Minds: "Belfast Child"
04. Holly Johnson: "Love Train"
05. Phil Collins: "In The Air Tonight '88"
06. Neneh Cherry: "Buffalo Stance"
07. Robin Beck: "The First Time"
08. Soulsister: "The Way To Your Heart"
09. Roy Orbison: "You Got It"
10. David Hasselhoff: "Looking For Freedom"
I found them all in Youtube, but if I should pick out the 3 (for me) best songs of this list, I would choose in that order: 3, 7, 1 ...

A-ha was like a shooting star. Fast to the top, and then fast to forget.

You are right, Teppo, this remake of the Corrusion-Song, what Sandra has presented, is from a later date. But the original version was 1987 on the 'Floodland' album of the Sisters...

Okay, Dire Straits are a classic, but these links on Poland and Polish punk music are almost more interesting!
This has brought me the idea, to look what happened musically in the 80's here in Austria... A band from Styria had one top hit (1985)
